Pastor John Park [Senior Pastor]
John (or “J.P.” as everyone calls him) has been the senior pastor at Ambassador since 2005. He grew up in southern California and pastored there for over 8 years before going “coast-to-coast.” He is a graduate of U.C. San Diego (B.A.) and Talbot School of Theology (M.Div and Th.M).John has been married to his beautiful and godly wife, Sandy, since 1995, and they have two wonderful children, Nathan and Emily. He loves spending time with his family, exploring new places on the East Coast, laughing and being silly, and watching the kids play sports. When he’s not doing that, you’ll find him keeping up with his favorite sports teams, the Los Angeles Angels, the USC Trojans (football), and the Duke Blue Devils (basketball).
John loves the people of Ambassador and finds it a privilege and a joy to serve them and be a part of what God is doing in and through the church. His passion is to see the church live out its biblical calling to be a God-exalting, people-loving, Christ-proclaiming, Spirit-driven, prayer-filled, and Word-saturated community of believers who are passionate about and committed to God’s redemptive plan to bless all the peoples of the world to the end that God would be glorified. Pastor Kenji Adachi [Associate Pastor]
Outlandish like Myles Standish, many are surprised to discover Kenji is a pastor. Beyond the fun-loving guy, you’ll find a man who loves people and loves God with passion. He is a storyteller and humorist who enjoys rhyming.“Born in the land of the Rising Sun
Osaka, Japan is where I begun
At six we moved east to the Tarheel state
I was your worst nightmare like the Motel Bates”God’s plan also included a change in his spiritual address. In his final year of high school, this sinner was saved and justified by the grace of God. At NC State, he majored in Campus Crusade for Christ, Christine, and basketball. It was there he began a friendship with his future wife, Christine. Wild horses could not keep him from marrying this combination of godliness and good looks.
Kenji spent five years in the corporate world before attending Dallas Theological Seminary. Upon graduation in 2003, he was called to serve the body at Ambassador. His mission in life is to enjoy God (John 10:10b) and spread His joy. He’s also the human toy to his daughters Charis (5) and Alana (2).
Kenji is fluent in “Jinglish,” an avid reader of non-fiction, and an apostle for the Dallas Cowboys. Contact Kenji.

Peter graduated from college in Australia and came to the US to get his Masters degree. During graduate school he met Melanie (now his wife) and decided to stay!Peter has worked in children’s ministry for more than ten years, having directed kids’ camps, run the upper elementary ministry at his home church in Australia, and interned in a church in northern California. He has completed seminary classes in Australia and the US and is currently enrolled in Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s distance learning program.
Peter loves good music, good books, and talking (a lot!). He enjoys the opportunity to serve as a strategic partner with the parents at Ambassador as we work together to bring our children up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Contact Peter.
